The Day Family 2012 – Airdrie Family Photography

Well the time of year has come again when I haul out the tripod and bribe the children to get some family portraits for ourselves.  I did give each of the eldest children a chance to shoot a little bit so if you notice someone missing from the shot it’s likely they’re the ones taking it.  Every year we come home from our escapades out-of-doors I generally feel like the shoot was an epic failure but once a few days (or more) goes by the more I appreciate the photographs.  Simply because they are real.  Real funny.  In regards to this first shot, it was merged with another because the original had Ellie with her finger up her nose at least two knuckles deep.  Don’t worry, the original will be kept for progeny.

These quilts were made by my grandmother and two of my aunts and the kids are in love with them.  Wyatt has even taken his to school to show his class.

And now Shannon.
