Dan & Kristi’s Wedding – Saskatoon Wedding Photography

SaskatoonWeddingPhotography35

Kristi’s family are close friends of ours and so we were very honored to photograph her wedding just 10 days ago at the Delta Bessborough in Saskatoon.  We got ourselves a smoking hot day that felt like 37˚C, even so, it was better than rain!  This wedding was certainly unique for Scott and I since we knew so many of the guests but also because we had our children along not to mention our 7 week old Ellie.  Needless to say there were some extra challenges having a nursing infant but Kristi and her family greatly accommodated our unique situation.  Also, a big thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for watching all the kids for the day!  Kristi made a stunning bride and she put together a gorgeous wedding that was a treat to photograph.  Here is the story of the day.

Dan and his groomsmen are all from Australia, were very laid back and very fun to shoot!

Dane is the bride’s nephew who has been on my blog a time or two.  You can see his last birthday bash here.

My perspective on the left, Scott’s on the right.

As I’m sure you’ve noticed already, there was no shortage of smiles at this wedding!

The groomsmen pretended to have lost the rings to make the mothers’ hearts beat faster.

The vows.

My favorite recessional ever.

I can’t quite figure out why I like the shot on the left so much but I do..

Pulling skeeters out of the veil.

So gorgeous.

I loved everything about this venue.

All ready to go.

These are absolutely beautiful photos capturing a gorgeous
Wedding for 2 young people who are obviously happily in love
and excited about sharing their lives together.
For those of us who are ‘down under’ it was a privilege
to be able to view these. Thankyou
