Losing Patience

As other photographers can attest to, it can often be most difficult shooting our own children.  Shannon had had enough with me and I wasn’t quite ready to be done since I’d expended so much energy setting up and dolling her up that I didn’t want to quit a moment early.  The “posier” shots of Shannon in her ballet costume will be coming in a later post.  I thought I would post this shot of an uncooperative Shannon since it is a close representation to how I’m feeling as this due date creeps towards me.  The days leading up to baby arriving have often been the toughest on my psyche since it feels a bit like watching paint dry.
